“The hotel is great with a lovely pool and beautiful gardens. Didn't use the restaurant other than for a cracking value breakfast. The staff friendly mostly and the facilities first class. The location is disappointing but nothing that the hotel can do anything about. The walk into the old town takes about 15 minutes. The area around is run down, dirty and a bit depressing however we walked back late and didn't feel worried or threatened. The station is particularly unsightly but great for local trips and the service, value and trains put the UK to shame. The old town is beautiful and interesting with lovely bars and restaurants some better value than others.”

“This was close to the train station, (just be sure you go out the correct exit, down the street, up the stairs and then make a right on to the road!). It was very accessible to the harbor, Old Town and shopping area. The restaurant was very good!”
