“We had the duplex suite (there is only one) which is great: Sitting room and full kitchen downstairs, bedroom and bathroom upstairs. All furnished with best furniture and appliances. Excellent well provided bathroom with all the toiletries. Good decor and ambiance. Wish we knew in advance about the full kitchen, would have come prepared to cook. The location is good, 5 minutes by car to Kilchoan Hotel/Pub for a good dinner, 0.5hr drive to Ardnamurchan Lighthouse (must visit for views and excellent visitor center), 5 minutes to Kilchoan pier for ferry to Mull and Treshnish isles tours (Staffa, Lunga, etc.), 0.5hr drive to Ardnamurchan distillery. Well renovated castle, everything is new but styled to give an authentic castle groove. Breakfast was excellent, prepared by chef and quite plentiful. It's a very small hotel, just 6 rooms total if I recall, so you get to meet everyone quite quickly and get a chance to chat.”
