“Our hostess was simply the best. From a refreshing cup of tea followed by a bottle of wine . Wonderful quiet in the country after a long few days driving. Comfy bed and nice linen. Next hotel on our journey contacted by hostess to confirm and ensure that we would be treated well. We shall return.”
“Beautiful hotel in lovely surroundings. Very interesting building with comfortable and elegant furnishings. Delicious home-cooked food using ingredients from the garden. Clean and comfortable room - it was just a shame that we could only stay for one night.”
“Very easy to find, and a lovely house, with beautiful interior decor. Most wonderful fireplace area to sit with a wine plus many other areas for your use. Tranquil property and very friendly hosts. Nothing was a problem. Breakfast was plentiful and really nice. Dinner also was available, which we pre-ordered the night before.”
“Comfortable room nice building pretty countryside. The proprietors were really helpful and friendly”

“Very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast with homemade yogurt and olive oil cake and the biscuits were divine. Would definitely recommend”
“Absolutely beautiful house - lovingly restored and oozing character. Set out in the country and yet close to Burgos (which is well worth a visit) and close to the main road from Santander to Madrid. We absolutely loved the house and would definitely return if the opportunity arose. The owner was very helpful, friendly and spoke excellent English. She also provided us with an excellent home cooked meal on arrival and breakfast with home made jams the following day. If you are looking for a place with character in the Spanish countryside look no further!”
“Great welcome by Iciar. Free secure parking. Only 15 minutes drive from Burgos”
“Quiet room with a fantastic garden. It was an old water mill.”
