“We were complimentary upgraded to their best but one suite (as a couple newly wed were staying in the best!) as we mentioned we were celebrating our engagement! Asked for recommended restaurants etc and had so many brilliant meals because of the staff recommendations. The bar is lovely and so is their restaurant - breakfast and dinner absolutely delicious! “Beautiful, quiet and very peaceful location. Pleasant garden view balcony room. We slept well. Staff welcoming, helpful and efficient. Food quality good and breakfast choice excellent. Lounge/bar area cosy and welcoming - the original 30's ambience is charming and relaxing. Ample spacing between tables in the restaurant. Decor generally in good condition - we've stayed in many 4 star hotels where the corridors in particular seem to take a beating - not so here.”
