“An attractive building, very close to the centre of the old town.Friendly and helpful staff”
“This property was well located for easy walking to the main square. There were charming decorations throughout. Enjoyed the sitting room on the second floor. Small patio at the back of the dining area was a nice surprise.”
“Great location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms.”
“The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about the city and the day trips available. They immediately took care of any problems in room and offered an equivalent when problem could not be fixed right away.”
“Hotel very nice and very close to the city centre (5 minutes walking), with typical colonial forniture. Staff suggested us what to do in Cuenca and where to eat, and gave us a free map. We had a misunderstanding with the booking, but they found us another room at same price.”
“All the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Alex went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay, from making us feel extra welcome, to helping us arrange various tours and sightseeing throughout the city. The breakfast was delicious, with eggs made to order, toast, ham and cheese, fresh fruit, fresh juice, and coffee. And our room was comfortable and lovely! The hotel is right in the heart of the old city, so everything we wanted to see was within walking distance and easy to find. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Cuenca!”
“Great location in the historic center, easy to walk to all the sites. Breakfast was fine, staff was very responsive ahead of time. Showers are nice and hot, which was refreshing in the cold.”
“The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room cozy and clean, and location is great! Afternoon complimentary coffee/tea. A nice breakfast included. Can't beat it.”
“A quaint and eccentric hotel, which was nicely decorated and very clean. Breakfast was a help yourself affair with plenty of bread, eggs, ham, cheese and fruit available. Overall very different from a lot of the hostels we usually stay in and good value for money. I would thoroughly recommend a trip to piedra de aqua and a walk through Parque Nacional de Cajas - both were fabulous and easily accessible from the hotel.”
