“The people were very friendly here! During breakfast, staff went out of their way to say good morning and ask how we slept and if we had everything we needed. It was such a pleasant surprise to find such courtesy! I liked that they had tables ready for us (by room number) for breakfast. Good selection of breakfast foods. The bed was comfortably and the room and bathroom/shower plenty big and well cleaned. Very good location within walking distance of the Mosel River and a short drive to sites such as Burg Eltz and Cochem.”

“The Waldeck was a delightful, comfortable and welcoming place. Its location and grounds were lovely. A small creek runs through the property creating a gentle water sound that I noticed as we pulled into the parking area. It is excellent for auto's with plenty of parking room and a place to put bicycles undercover from rain. The staff were very helpful and the family feel of the place made it an especially nice place to visit. It looks like it would be a fabulous venue for a wedding too!”
