“Very chic, modern hotel in the north of Barranquilla. Free parking below. Free welcome cocktail. Nice, friendly, helpful, and professional English-speaking receptionists. Room was fairly large with nice views of the city. Nice bathroom and amenities. A/C worked well. WiFi was pretty strong and stable. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast offered many options and was pretty tasty. The pool area was pretty cool and well-maintained. Hotel bar had many options, a bit pricey, but not too extreme. Walking distance to CC Buenavista, CC Viva, and Parque de la Plaza, or a very short taxi ride.”

“Movich Buro 51 is definitely the best hotel in Barranquilla. Check-in at the reception is fast and easy. The lady at check-in tries her best to speak a word of English, the effort is appreciated especially for Barranquilla. Rooms have a great view of the city and are very clean, unfortunate of not having a balcony. The bed is one of the best features in this hotel; very big, comfortable and full of pillows. The pool deck is amazing, with a very relaxing atmosphere. Here you are at rest, especially with a nice Rum. In the weekend, I had the pleasure of having screaming destructive children, nevertheless staff spoke to the mother which switched the tone to medium loud. Again, this was appreciated.”

“Great swimming pool and relaxing environment. Staff was helpful and cheerful. This building is definitely one of the most beautiful buildings in Barranquilla. Great for taking a break from the hot weather and fuzz. Beds are amazing, pretty big and soft. I slept like a baby.”
