“A lovely old building/ palace in what was probably its own park/ garden. Like so many of these places it is spoilt by low energy lighting which gives it the atmosphere of a railway station.”

“This was previously a Maharaja's lodge and frankly I felt like a Maharaja in the suite, the proportions, the fittings, the height of the ceiling, etc. I believe we two were the only ones staying at the hotel so imagine my surprise when going down to the restaurant for dinner and seeing the throngs of people. This is not exactly in the centre of town so clearly people were coming from far and wide simply for the cuisine - and they were right ! So lovely food, luxurious accommodation and lovely park setting.”
