“Great place, right across from monastery so u can walk prayer wheel circle a few times easily. Clean and well run. Comfortable lobby to relax in with lots of books, cosy. Staff very nice. Heater and electric mattress kept us very warm at night! Ask owners for more insight on local Tibetan culture, very informative. Xiahe was our first Tibetan city and it was quite eye opening on cultural differences etx. So glad we went and stayed at nirvana! ”

“Wandhikhar - the owner was extremely helpful, thanks a lot for that! I'm not entirely sure do the girls from the restaurant speak good english or not, I spoke chinese and they understood, anyway, you will overcome the language barrier, the owners are almost always there. The room is very clean and almost perfectly designed (see the cons), but all in all i was satisfied. Location is excellent and beds are comfy. What else do you need for a great stay?”
