“Perfect location in the midst of one of the few remaining more or less authentic hutongs, in the vicinity of the Yonghgegong Lama Temple, Drum Tower, 2 MTR stations, restaurants, bars, beer breweries, parks & shops. You find all the food, entertainment and sights you need in your own neighborhood! Very basic, but clean room with good beds and a good shower. Very friedly and helpful staff, even if they hardly speak English. It's a joy to walk around in the hutong, also at night and also with children. You get a much more 'real Beijing feel' staying here, than of in one of the huge hotel towers uptown.”
