“Conventional type of hotel near to JR Station. Very tall hotel building with 45 floors. Fantastic and open view which in a good day you can see Mt Fuji. Rooms are spacious and clean. Beds are comfortable.”
“It's my second time to stay at Okura Hotel in Hamamatsu and it's a great option if you wanna stay in this city. They are very close to the station and the entrance might seem a little tough to find (specially if you come by train) but overall is good and I would recommend if you consider what they offer. Here are some positive points to consider: - A big thumb up for the wifi in the rooms. After choosing the network you won't need to type any password and can start surfing and the is stable and fast enough to make video calls without any problem. - Free English newspaper in the morning. Even if you don't have enough time to read is just great to wake up and see the "Japan Times" right down your main door free for you. Keep in mind that this benefit in not offered in all good hotels in Japan. - The amenities in the bar are just the essential ones but another thumb up for a bottle of whiskey there.”

“The hotel is very efficiently run. We had breakfast each morning of our stay and I was very impressed by the pleasant service, the selection at the buffet, and the relaxed feeling in the dining room even when there were a lot of people eating. Tables were cleared without fuss and new people seated all in a very welcoming and warm way. I liked the hard bed, my partner wasn't so keen, so that might be something to watch for. We both liked that the hotel is within easy reach of JR Hamamatsu, it's very easy to get around the area from the hotel.”
