“The room was a reasonable size and the bed huge. There was bath as well as a shower: always a bonus for us. The cooked breakfast was good and always hot. The location was good, as it is close enough to the town centre to be easily accessible but not right in the middle of things.”
“The rooms are built with original bricks which were covered in a soundproof material making them very quiet. Much quieter than any of the chain hotels. The rooms were cleaned to the highest standard and you couldn't hear the cleaners arriving at any of the adjacent rooms.”

“I visited with my daughter who is over 18 and your question about who I travelled With didn't apply . We loved the hotel as it was tucked away but so convenient to Oakham with shops, restaurants etc within easy walking distance. We thought the twin room we had was perfect and although we were only there for one night we agreed it would have been good for a whole weeks stay. A value for money find.”
