“The hotel has been thoroughly updated. My room was very comfortable, and I appreciated the large shower. What really makes this establishment shine are the proprietors, Steven and Jane. They could have been any nicer or more responsive to my needs. Excellent breakfast, by the way.”

“A warm welcome from the owners (Steve and Jane) of this family run hotel. On a one night trip for business my room was exactly as expected in this price bracket. There is ample parking at the hotel which was useful as I was able to leave my car there whilst I walked into town to work. The hotel is an easy and pleasant 15 minute walk into town. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and the dining room enjoys nice views over the River Torridge.”
“I was welcome when I was arrived even though I was an hour or so late which was a very nice touch. And for the whole of the stay I was well looked after. Was offered a Full English in the morning. Also coffee juice and cereal. Really nice place to stay run by a lovely couple. Defiantly the place to stay in Bideford.”
