“I really like this hotel. It's the second time I decided to stay here during my stay in Varese. Staff at the reception offer precise information and tips on how to get around. All of that with a smile, which is always welcome. The location is really interesting, in the middle of park, but not far from the city centre. Trees and flowers around and a great view toward the mountains and the lake Varese. The building is very special. It offers a special atmosphere that takes you back to the beginnging of the 20th century. Rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. A good variety of food for breakfast, for all tastes. The shuttle service is excellent but you can also take the city bus to reach the city centre or the station. From there you can travel easily to Milan. I prefer to go there with the train instead of the car for obvious reasons. We like this hotel, and we'll certainly come back.”
“The location is simply GREAT. The hotel is a actually a villa, and the appearance of the lobby and the common areas is stunning. You have to have a car to reach the place, but the place is pretty close to the city center. If needed, the hotel offers a free shuttle service to downtown. Definitely great value for money.”

“A hilariously glamorous hotel - the name is no exaggeration. Slightly dated and run-down - very 80s carpets, for example - but marble and gilt in the bathroom and breathtaking views from a very high point. Lots of coach tours and conferences clearly use the facilities, but the staff were eager to help a visiting couple. Food was generous in quantity and well-cooked and overall the value for money was very good.”
