“The buzzers on the bar tables were excellent. Staff were very friendly and attentive.”
“This is an imposing ex spanish navy building and an unusual setting for a Parador. The breakfast was excellent and there was particular attention to gluten free food which we did not need but which some might find very useful. The dining room overlooks the current naval dockyard and the bay and in contrast to the room was very light and airy.”
“It was in a convenient location. The historical building is pretty. The bathroom was modern.”
“breakfasts very nice. bar area and service very nice.”
“We got really good information on restaurants and sights in the hotel. Very nice breakfast, the restaurant overlooked the navy piers.”
“This was a great place to stay before starting the Camino Inglés. The location is great, next to the church of San Francisco. I went to a mass the night before (8pm in May) and got a blessing from the priest for a safe journey. The breakfast buffet was amazing. It satisfied me through my first day of walking to Neda.”
“Lovely hotel located in the old part of town. Easy to walk down to harbour or to town centre”
“Old town house with maritime theme throughout. Very luxurious parador. Had half board and meal was excellent with large portions. Good value and there didn't seem a lot of restaurant choice in the immediate vicinity so worth doing. Staff very helpful. Could park the motorbike outside but car space is limited.”
“The view from the breakfast room overlooking the harbour and ships.”
“Surrounding! The help from he staff to get parking places.”
