“The onsen is good. Spacious with 6 pools to dip in.”

, Singapore

“The room is big enough for two. Staff will make your futon before bed time. The selection for dinner and breakfast was rich. The hot pool was not crowded at all and opened for a long range of time day and night.”

, USA

“Nice Japanese style room. Despite Jozankei is quite old fashioned, the area is great, and so the onsen :)”

, Spain

“We stayed 1 night at the Hotel at rate 44.750JPY/5 persons, incl dinner and breakfast. Room is OK for 5, with 2 single bed and 3 Japanese futon. Staff is helpful and friendly. They instructed us the way to some points and called for free bus to Bear Park. We used Hotel shuttle bus service from Sapporo to Hotel at 500JPY/pax, which is useful. Bus stop to Chitose airport is in front of the Hotel. There are 5 onsen baths in the Hotel including one outside and 4 inside, which are OK and not crowded. It takes 15 minutes to walk to Jigokudani's entrance (Hell Valley) and 10 minutes to Shopping street. Meals are so so, king crab, salmon and many other Japanese and Western dishes are served, but not very fresh. I suggest you to stay 2 nights, so you will have enough time to relax and go around. 1 night is very tight, as the shuttle bus arrives Hotel at 3pm And you have to check out at 10 am next day, and there are only 2 buses to Chitose airport at 9am and 11am.”

“It was nice to experience traditional Japanese tatami while staying at this hotel. Also, the buffet dinner was great, especially with crab and sashimi. We really enjoyed the hotspring at this hotel. The hotel is located very close to the Hell Valley area of Noboribetsu Onsen.”

, Hong Kong

“Room was very nice & big. we had 2 western bed & 2 futami bed. Both was very comfy. Room view was very nice mountain view with colourful autumn leaves. Buffet dinner was superb, lots of seafood & sashimi. Bfast was normal but taste good. Hotel onsen was also good. Clean and well kept.”

, Malaysia

“Good onsen and location. Somewhat old-fashioned hotel. Great buffet dinner.”

, Australia

“There were many choices in the hotel’s dinner and breakfast, but were packed full of people. The room was spacious with a seating area. Large onsen facilities with natural thermal water.”

, Singapore

“The dinner buffet was superb. Loads of varieties with good food and plentiful. The onsens were also clean and spacious. Facilities tip top! The view overlooking the autumn foliage from the japanese-western room was refreshing. The staff was accomodative when loaning international adapters. They gave us 2. Best of all, worth the price paid for 4 people. Highly recommended. ”

, Malaysia

“The best thing is probably the onsen, with 6 different pools of different temperatures and types of water. Awesome for relaxing at the end of the day!”
