“The gardens and outdoor pool must be great in summer ( we were there in winter). The new 'wellness' centre has been nicely done: gym so full of latest high tech equipment that there is no room on the floor for a yoga mat or swiss gym ball ( both supplied); steam room and sauna; relaxation area and a very tepid 'whirl pool". Good food in the restaurant ( sophisticated take on Italian classics) -- expensive but broadly in line with exorbitant local prices. Copious breakfasts.”

“I liked literally everything :-) The room was very clean, comfortable, with good bed and all one needs to enjoy the wellness (bathrobe, towels, flippers, even a bag). It was beginning of November but the outside pool was still open and ready for use. The breakfast included a rich variety of food, salty and sweet, vegetarian, fish or meet, cheese or muesli, whatever you might please. Crusty bread was of different sorts! I really liked the people in the hotel, extremely friendly, open and uncomplicated. When I returned late after the hike, I was told to hurry up to wellness (open till 20.00) to catch another "relaxing time". It was a nice touch. Parking is very safe and just in front of the hotel. You can rent a bike, play minigolf for free, and get basically everything there if you forgot it at home. :-)”
