“This is the second time we have stayed. It is a family run establishment and they are committed to guests enjoying their stay. The food is amazing with a minimum of four courses each night. The location is beautiful with the alps surrounding the lake and hotel. The other guests were all friendly and most spoke English. The bed and pillows (like all in Austria) was so comfortable. The town of LIENZ located at the bottom of the mountain is a lovely place to stroll around and enjoy a drink or something to eat. You can walk down to the town from the hotel and it takes around 1.5 hours. NOTHING would make me walk back up. We love this place and hopefully will return one day. “Everything about this property was top notch. The Kreuzer family has taken great pains to see that it is run to perfection---greeting each guest every morning at breakfast and dinner, personally overseeing everything. The dining rooms were all beautiful, and the guest 5 course dinner was an unbelieveable value at 15 Euros. (This included an appetizer buffet including salmon, shrimp , langostino, sushi, etc.)”

All facilities are top notch, staff were happy and helpful. The Owners (Kruezer Family) are by themselves a constant positive energy that keeps pampering you throughout your stay. The food for us was magnificent, worthy of a Michelin Star rating! We have a lot of respect for this place which became a highlight in our trip.”
