“Bed was comfortable. We had an ensuite room. We liked the fact that this is an old country pub, and still has that atmosphere. The locals gathered there for their drinks in the evening. Staff were all friendly and helpful and breakfast was great, and included in the room rate. We were able to get the heating going in our room (so often this is difficult). Fantastic fires throughout the public areas, though not in the dining room, but we could have eaten in another room.”
