“The most amazing and unusual hotel. With an infamous history. Loved the quirky style. Everywhere there were little cool touches and artefacts. For example all the lampshades in Room 39 (restaurant) were bowler or top hats. Great breakfast included on the sunny terrace. Party at pikes every night! Not for those looking for a quiet escape. Not cheap food and drink, but where is these days? Fab fun. Felt like our own party place, as you soon get to know everyone who is staying there. Wonderful.”

“This hotel is amazing, it's secluded but not too far from anywhere in a hire car or taxi. The staff are fantastic and the facilities are wonderful too. Our room was quirky and well equipped. We cannot fault Pikes at all and would recommend to everyone, just not families, it's great as a couple or group of friends. We will definitely be back.”
