“When I planned to book the hotel, I intended for the stay of both my wife and me. But, by mistake, I booked the double room for the occupation of "one"guest. But immediately thereafter, when I knew the mistake, I send the corrections and including the name of my wife as a guest. The hotel accepted the change and the rate shown earlier was not corrected. When I checked in also they did not mention about any additional charge to be levied for two persons. But at the time when I checked out, they insisted for additional amount, saying that the rate quoted was for single occupancy. In order to avoid any confrontation I paid the amount demanded. I feel that at least they could have avoided that confusion with prompt reply.”
