“The location is excellent. Anybody who complains about the tidal lagoon was in the wrong hotel (for them). On the balcony there was complete silence except for the occasional traditional fishing boat passing. It was like something from two centuries ago, with a little engine attached. When the tide is out you can watch the shellfish collectors at work. As the tide is coming in you can watch schools of quite large fish foraging in the shallow just beyond the balcony. Be sure to drive about 3 miles down the peninsula on the right hand side there are amazing nature trails across the protected dune system. They have marked walks ranging from about half to three hours.”
