“Although it was completely different than our other stays (the luxury Table Bay hotel and a lot of smaller estates outside Cape Town) it was really good. It was not expensive and very good value for money. Beautiful pool area. Rooms were fine and clean. Very friendly staff. Two things stood out: - the quality of the WiFi, first location where I could stream a video - the breakfast was the best we had during our tour Very close to the beach. If you like to run, you can really enjoy along the long coast line”

“The food was outstanding, the staff mostly friendly. The room left a lot to be desired... duvet was too small for the bed, dirty walls and doors, light bulbs needed replacing and the extractors in the bathroom and toilet didn't work. Called to get assistance when we were ready to leave and nobody came to.help us.. we were downstairs and had to carry our bags up the stairs and lug our luggage all the way to the car! Room service was not efficient at all with cleaning.... we had to request clean wine glasses as ours were not washed properly. All in all, I would not recommend this hotel.”
“A great hotel to stay as a comfortable base for sightseeing around Cape Town. We booked apartments with sea views that were good value for money. The hotel, facilities, food and location were good and we made good use of the free hotel transfer bus to the V&A Waterfront. The City Sightseeing hop on, hop off bus tours had 2 routes which stopped directly outside the President Hotel.”
