“The staff was very kind and helpful, especially Isabella! The restaurant has a beautiful view and we enjoyed the nice breakfast. When we entered to our room there was a tray full with fruits for welcome. This was very nice. It’s very convenient to stay there if you’re going to Chumbe Island. Because this hotel is the departure and arrival point to this beautiful island.”
“The location. Everything was there. Beautiful scenery ”
“The view from our balcony was picture perfect. Comfortable bed. A kettle for early morning tea on the balcony. Good food and delightful dining room staff.”
“Must compliment the staff, excellent service all round, from the restaurant staff like Noor to the managers like Nico!”
“close to Stonetown, great location with Beach and Seaview and perfect view from the restaurant on a wooden deck. The old trees and the tropical garden are unique.”
“The garden and the beach is really very nice, away from the bustle of Stone Town and yet very close. Staff is well trained as opposed to most other hotels in Tanzania.”
“The hotel was a delight to stay in. Our group relaxed there after a hectic week on the mainland including a safari. The rooms, restaurant and beach were fantastic. We used free shuttle into Stone Town one day and had a great time there. The beach was bounded by mangroves and included a jetty which made it very interesting. There were always enough sunbeds and the staff were a pleasure. It was very convenient for the airport and breakfast included freshly made omelettes.”
“The service was great! The staff were particularly helpful and always wear a smile on their faces. A big thank you to Fariga ( spelling? ) who helped me locate my glasses that I have left behind on Chumbe and safely keeping it for me at the front desk. Asante sana !! We also LOVED and really enjoyed the lush well managed garden !!”
“Quiet secluded beach with few guests Convenient for visits to Stone town 7 km away. Convenient for diving trips to Chumbe Island”
“Excellent location and food, friendly staff, good service. Close enough to Stone Town but out of the hustle and bustle”
