“Best location in Taiyuan. The hotel is located in the north-east corner of the city. We were concerned about traveling time to sightseeing places but as that hotel is next to the outer highway ring circling the city and taxi in Taiyuan is efficient and inexpensive, getting from the hotel via the ring is actually faster because traffic lights and traffic jams were avoided. The hotel is located in a residential area and a mall with supermarket, bakery and many restaurants is just across the street. Front desk staff were very nice and efficient, thanks to Kelly and Phoebe who promptly arranged for our changed booking and gave advices on the best place to eat and visit, and always wear a smile despite the busy front desk operations. ”
“After our booking, I called the hotel to tell them that we were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. Staff member Judy was wonderful in accommodating us and setting up a special surprise of red roses for my wife. For only 200 RMB ($29 US) she had a huge beautiful bouquet of 20 red roses in our room, rose petals in the shape of a heart on the bed and 2 swans made from towels, and rose petals in the bathtub. My wife loved it! Judy also gave us a free upgrade to the executive level! It was a very nice anniversary celebration. :)”

“Clean, comfortable, modern and good sized bedroom. Staff at check in counter and concierge was friendly and very helpful. Most speak English too. Jayce at concierge even printed out the attractions and eateries in Taiyuan as well as drew out an itinerary for me. Boris and Judy were also very helpful amongst those I met. Good sized heated swimming. Although there was no lifeguard. There are local eateries and provision shops nearby.”
