“I booked the Punta Rosa because of the rooms, big and airy, nice views over the beach. What I didn't do was look at what was available in the surrounding area, restaurants, bars, transport. Food at the hotel was limited to a good breakfast, and with very limited options nearby we always had to travel to Station 2 by trike. Being a good 10 minute walk from the road we requested the reception to request transport for us, but they were only able to do at certain times. With 3 nights left of our prepaid holiday we checked out and moved to another hotel in Station 2 to enjoy the full Boracay experience for the last few days. I must say the staff were always courteous and helpful, so it was in no way a reflection on them, it was all about the location only.”
