“Excellent All round.Front office/Porter helping with our luggage on arrival and escorting us to our room was a pleasant touch. We stayed at several hotels in South Island and no one offered this courtesy including the "5 star" Hotel we stayed at for 4 nights in Queenstown. Will definitely stay here on our next trip to Christchurch.”
“The Elms is next to a parade of shops and restaurants and a bus stop for the 15 minute ride to the cathedral and centre. It has a very good restaurant and bar and plenty of car park space. The corridors are wide and the overall feel is quite spacious. Free wifi too.”

“The room wouldn’t have been decent sized if it is catered for families with lesser baggage. We had 5 huge baggage and found the room a bit tight. Nonetheless, bed and mattress was very comfortable which was very important. Overall experience was good. I just had to rest our feet for a night before driving southwards.”
