“Our room was so close to to where we had breakfast, just down a spiral staircase. Good flat walk into town. Nice size balcony with our junior suite with lovely view over sea and pool.”
“The location is perfect- close to everything but away from the strip of other big hotels”
“Beautiful and calm garden, good access to the sea. Very quiet place. Enjoyable breakfast. Staff at reception vey helpful.”
“Good location. Very helpful staff who helped us book the ferry crossing to Porto Santo and gave us information to take a local bus to Porto Moniz. Excellent breakfast. Fantastic swimming pools and easy access to the sea for sea swimming.”
“Located on the edge of the town, but outside of the built-up "hotel zone" this is a great value choice - and very peaceful and quiet. It is built on a hillside, so if you can't handle stairs and steep ramps, then you are better off somewhere else. You can cross over the footbridge to the connected hotel by the sea, and use their enviable pool facilities by the sea. This is also the best way to walk into town avoiding hills (as you can take the elevator down three floors, then walk along the seafront - takes around 15 mins). Lovely to eat in the open air at the hotel restaurant. There are several other good eating places nearby within walking distance. Worth paying an extra E1.60 at breakfast to get a Bica (espresso) as their coffee was very weak!”
