“Everything. The meals were delicious. Excellent steak and scrumptious mushroom tart Wellington. Staff pleasant and helpful. Grounds are beautiful with hikes along the ridge in both directions. Take the Cleveland Way out away from Robin Hood’s Bay toward the WWII radar site for fantastic views. Pretty gardens, even a small pool to swim laps in. And a real fireplace in the drawing room! Nicely decorated for Christmas. And a large parking area. And kippers for breakfast! And a castle rampart to walk on.”
