“Requested a ground level floor, had absolute privacy as we were given an individual chalet with no neighbours. Dog bed, bowls and a treat offered to our dog. Very welcoming and attentive reception staff.”
“They had prepared a dog bed in the room with a treat for our Winston! There was also a little water dish for him. We had never seen that before. How thoughtful... The staff were wonderful; friendly and accommodating. The village of Monfort-l'Almaury was delightful; the quintessential french provincial town. We had arranged to visit the house of Maurice Ravel (Bolero) which was amazing and immediately put us in the atmosphere of the town. The streets were neat and clean and the buildings were lovely, some recently restored with great care. The square cemetary in the center of the town was astoundingly beautiful and perfectly maintained. The bakery, the fish monger, the real-estate agents, the épicerie... all were top-notch and run by charming people. On one side of the town was a public park perched on a hill with meandering paths lined with huge, old trees leading up to ruins overlooking the rich, grean valley. It was like a fairy-tale town to us.”
“Montfort L'Amaury is a beautiful town and the hotel was located in a perfect location. In 10 minutes you can walk to the castle or to any of the cute little restaurants close by. The hotel itself is this charming centuries-old manor house that has been tastefully and conveniently renovated. The room was large, clean and the bathroom was impeccable.”

Le réseau téléphonique n'était pas très présent, de quoi vouloir passer un bon moment tranquille et profiter du calme. Le petit déjeuner, buffet à volonté, est vraiment bon, complet. Il y a de bons restaus à même pas 5 minutes à pieds, pour tous les goûts. Vous pouvez monter aux ruines pour avoir une superbe vue.”
