“Patagonia: Remarkable. Remote. Hewn from Nature. Part of our time spent here was in 'Remota', arguably the strangest hotel we've ever stayed in! But it was wonderful! Designed by German del Sol, it embodies the elements of Nature and its impact on the surrounding landscape. Low profile, odd angles, embedded in wildflower meadows. And it immerses you in Nature during your stay. So, yes, that means walking along weird (partially) outdoor pathways to get to the lobby or spa but it oddly makes sense. Raw Nature is unavoidable in Patagonia, no matter how many stars are in front of a hotel name. Plus, their cheesecake is to die for.”

“The rooms were great, though the window to look directly into the bathroom was odd. Beds very comfortable and the view from the pool and hot tub was awesome. The housekeeping staff get an a+ for swapping out sparkling water (aqua con gas) for regular bottled water upon request.”
