This used to be the Old US Navy compound building... Wow what a trip down memory lane. loved the hot tub, garden area and upper swimming pool. Close walking distance to Piazzia Garibaldi and restaurants and cafes.”

“Great location, good breakfast, all of the staff and family owners very kind and welcoming (they gave us a welcome drink and tray of food with a message for our honeymoon). Facilities excellent for a boutique hotel, outdoor swimming pool not shown on pictures at the time we bookedp. Very pretty garden and areas to relax. Will not hesitate to book again when we return to beautiful La Maddalena. Thank you.”

“53 year old couple's opinion. Moderately high standards; used to 4 or 5 star. Had a hire car. We had just spent twice the money somewhere else. This is better. Mordini is exceptional. It is a boutique hotel, beautifully designed, brilliantly located, and at an exceptional price. No, there's no casino. Just an immaculately clean, chic, bedroom and bathroom, very good staff, a good breakfast. After that go out and enjoy the day - until evening - at some of the lovely (mostly beach) locations within a short drive. After returning for an early evening shower we walked the five minutes along the harbour to the centre of La Maddelena and picked any of 25 restaurants. Parking is easy and you can load up for a beach picnic at the supermarket 20 yards behind the hotel. Amazing. Book it if it's available.”
