“No reception after mid afternoon. We're arrived in rain to find the place locked. We had a five hour train delay. Wait outside in rain and dark for forty minutes before a passerby helped. Owner advised it was our problem because we didn't read the email sent two weeks before. I don't recall if the lack of reception staff was mentioned in booking.com. premises seems to be set up for the convenience of the owner rather than guests.”
