“The location is superb, overlooking lake Como. It is hard to describe the feeling you get when you wake up and look out the window. Mauro and Daniela, the couple that runs the place are very nice. They let you enjoy your stay and are always there in case you need something. Food is amazing, made fresh on the spot. Good wine and beer selection too.”

We also love the cute dog and the happy chicken:-) The hosts are dedicated to promote the harmony between the nature and the way we live. They perfectly implement this philosophy in the way they run the rifugio, particularly in their cuisine. They make efforts to use local organic seasonal ingredients and prepare handmade tasty dishes, at very reasonable price. They also openly share on the website the suppliers they buy the ingredients. “Tutto molto pulito e ben tenuto, bagno comodo. Letto e lenzuola perfetti, di qualità. La cena davanti al camino spettacolare. Il rifugio si trova in una posizione ideale per intraprendere il sentiero "traversata bassa" che porta (in diverse ore) ad altri rifugi, o anche per farne solo un pezzo. Mi piacerebbe tornare, magari per più giorni.”
