“The reception was attentive and courteous when we arrived after midnight. Room was large, bed was Western, and the location was right near the ferry dock to Naoshima. We walked with our back packs.”
“In addition to this being a lovely hotel, with staff that went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating, the Rihga Hotel Zest Takamatsu is located on a nice city street next to a small river that is well cared for and runs between the two lanes of the street. I spent a happy hour watching and photographing a heron hunting fish in the river, a totally unexpected pleasure in the middle of a city. In this part of the river is also located a pedestrian area built over the river, which was also a lovely place to sit and take in the view. And the far side of this same street was a large park with some beautiful flowers.”
