“Quick check-in, free coffee, in the morning pastries and orange juice, in walking distance of the beach and metro. Friendly staff, good bed, spacious room, fridge, windows that open. Fairly big size safe too, $2,- for the (analog) key which you need to take with you, but that didn't bother me. One block from Vons (BIG supermarket), Subway, Starbucks.”
“for a cheap 2 star hotel i expected a bed and a shower and that's it, what i got was nice comfy bed in a decent sized room with a lovely bathroom, a cupboard, with a desk, TV and a few chairs, everything was very clean and tidy, while there was no kettle etc, there was a coffee machine at the reception (which was very close) which was always full of coffee which was much appreciated.”
“Stayed at this Rodeway for ComplexCon, the convention center is like 4 blocks down the street which is excellent. Vons is right around the corner and even though I didn’t get to try it there is a cute breakfast/brunch place to the side if the inn. I was also impressed by the bathroom, very clean and way bigger than expected.”

“for a cheap 2 star hotel, the room i got was immaculate, bad, desk, tv, cupboard/wardrobe then a bathroom with sink/toilet and shower (which could get very hot). had a powerful A/C unit , there is no food to be bought there but they did supply free and unlimited coffee from the reception which was just a few yards away from any of the rooms.”
