“Peaceful location on countryside, approx. 30 km south of Bremen. Clean, big rooms, very kind personnel.”
“The location was hard to rate as it is out in the country. A beautiful, restful spot. It depends what you are looking for. We arrived early, about 3:00 and did not see anyone. Turns out checkin doesn't start until 5:00. Looking at the reservation, it clearly states that but I had not noticed. Fortunately we stopped a lady about to leave. Owner? She was very kind and gave us the key to our room. We had room 1 and it was huge. A double sink bathroom and best of all a terrace with wicker furniture. We loved it! There is a town about 2km but we chose to eat at the hotel both nights. Very pleasant service and food was very good. Not much English spoken, but we always manage.”
