“We had the delux room over looking the waterfall and it was really stunning. The views were beautiful and the bed large and comfortable. Really stylish overall. The location between Main Street and the mountains was perfect. We loved Beacon and enjoyed the local shopping, restaurants and bars. We walked up Mount Hudson in the morning (a very steep but rewarding hike) and went to DIA: Beacon in the afternoon. A brilliant gallery.”

“This smart boutique hotel is just off Main Street within easy walking distance of Beacon's growing restaurant scene. There is a cozy fireplace in the bar for drinks before wandering down Main Street for dinner. The breakfast buffet included an excellent variety of hot and cold selections. The guest rooms are large, spare but also very comfortable. I was in a river view room and also enjoyed the lulling sound of the rapids just outside. The essential hot morning beverage is provided by a Keurig machine with a selection of k-cups. They care enough to provide paragon-free bath products.”

“Roundhouse is a great place for a weekend out of the city. The hotel is very trendy and cool, the staff was not overwhelmingly friendly but nice enough and never rude. The breakfast was GREAT, and the location is good too - 30 minute walk from the train, 20 to the Mt Beacon trailhead, and very close to restaurants and bars. I found the price a little high, but as others have mentioned they're the only hotel in town so they can charge pretty much whatever the want.”

“The location was great just off main street, and the facility is very nice. The grounds are well maintained and nicely designed. Nice to have a little sitting area next to the waterfall. The buildings have been well transformed from the factories of the past into a modern hotel. We stayed in the Roundhouse itself which was a short walk down the hill and around the corner. Once you figure out how it works, it is no problem. All of the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. Our room was good sized and the furnishings were tasteful and nicely laid out. Overall it is quite a nice option for staying in Beacon.”
