“Just outside the walls of the town with beautifully decorated rooms, your own terrace and its own lovely swimming pool. Excellent buffet style breakfast with lots of local produce. Staff who were professional, friendly and helpful.”
“It is a treat to stay in a Pousada. This was the original one, opened in 1942. However, it is a bit long in the tooth and in serious need of updating. That said, it is clean & comfortable. It would be even better if they didn't make you pay for breakfast.”

“Just outside the city walls of Elvas a perfect place to visit that town, famous for its fortifications. You can also easily go to Badajoz in Spain (only 25 km). Great swimming pool (although we didn't make use of it...) More than enough parking space!”
