“We chose this hotel for our final night in Romania for easy access to Cluj Napoca airport (30 km away) for an 11.30 am flight. Staying in Turda avoided having to fight with the very busy traffic if we had stayed in Cluj. The dinner menu in the hotel restaurant included some lighter meals, a welcome respite from the heavy Romanian cuisine.”

“I have a very bad back, after the first night I asked them if they could do something to the mattress as in Romania they have very very firm beds. The staff and the manager of the Salis hotel were very understanding. As on my return that night they had gone out of their way and bought a new 8cm top memory mattress, placed on top of the existing mattress. Result a wonderful night sleep, no back pain. Also the Spa have a very good masseur, they are fully trained Physiotherapist.”

“Simply: Everything. To elaborate a bit: swimming pool was the search option #1. And was delivering the expectation. It is approx. 6x15m or so and excellent for the kids. The whole SPA is of good quality, but we only used the pool. First thumb up. Second element was the food. They have a chef or a very good cook. And fairly priced Second thumbs up. Staff - they are always smiling and willing to help. Two thumbs up for the ladies attending the breakfast!”
