“Staff was very nice and upgraded us to a private bathroom. Possibly the best location in San Gil right at the mail square walking distance to everything in town and the bus terminal. Breakfast was small, but was great - eggs, fruit, bread, coffee. Very clean premesis and it included a towel! Reasonably priced beer, water, food. Helpful when booking things to do. It has a pool! This is a way to run a hostel - please take note you poor savage excuses for a hovel (I'm talking to you El Viajero Cartagena).”
“Excellent location on the main square of the town, there was constantly music and events happening in the square which was fun. The pool was nice and the rooms where clean.”
“Great staff, good atmosphere and amazing location. Really contributed to a great stay in San Gil. Would stay there again any time.”
“Staff were helpful, nice view of the Central Park, arrived at 3 am with no issues,”
“The employees were great. Specially adriana, daniela, luis carlos, andre...”
“Nice room and bathroom, location is good and the swimming pool is small but nice”
“Staff were really helpful, rooms was clean. Nice comfy space. We had some washing done and it came back super white and fresh.”
“Great rooftop terraces, pool seemed very clean, nice hangout areas, great with two kitchens, breakfast was good, and the wifi was strong.”
“We arrived a lot earlier than we thought, so Daniela helped us with storing our luggage and allowing us to use the showers after our ride on the night bus. The bathrooms were clean and had both soap and handtowels, which is a rare luxury, judging by the hostels I've stayed at in Colombia so far. The rooftop pool is certainly a nice touch for the days, which get very hot. The terrace facing the main square is cozy and the breakfast served was good. The hostel even has two kitchens, which are well-equipped. There are computers that can be used, which is practical for research and further planning of one's trip. Daniela and the rest of the staff were awesome, very helpful and cheerful, it was fun being around them. Daniela even helped me arrange my stay in Barichara at the Tinto Hostel, which was an absoluetly lovely place. I would recommend both hostels without hesitation. ”
“Great kitchen! It rained every night so we never tried the pool. Morning staff were all AWESOME. Evening staff didn't seem to want to be there.”
