“The hotel is right under the castle (in which the castle owners still live) and the village is a lovely quiet place. In the evening most of the places where you can buy something to eat are closed and the nearest shop is in the neighbouring village, so make sure to bring a snack for supper or check when the hotel kitchen closes on that day:) The hotel owners are very nice and the hotel is a great hidden gem to stay at if you want to visit Melk or Durnstein and other picturesque towns in the valley!”
“The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast buffet was very nice. We arrived late and left early, so can't really say a whole lot more, but the bed was quite comfortable and I like the fact that it is in a rural area and you can park right in front of the hotel.”

“The whole experience here was a pleasure, the location is idyllic and the team of staff make you feel very welcome. Also the restaurant both for dinner and breakfast was fabulous, we will be back again in the year for sure! We used this as our base for travelling around the Danube area, it was super easy especially as it has lots of parking and is on the main routes.”
