“A proper schlosshotel - the outside world does not intrude and there are no jarring modern architectural additions. Breakfast (EUR14) had full offering right up to and indeed beyond the closing time of 10:00. Other aspects of staff service also very good, which is rare in eastern Germany. I don't know about the rooms in the converted (and extended) stables. In the main building I think only 215/6/7 are from pre-conversion layout, but other rooms on first floor (i.e. 2xx) were pretty comfortable, and "real" with enormously thick walls and so deep windowsills for putting things. Restaurant in very pleasant courtyard in good weather, and inside is a series of cave-like ground floor rooms.”
