“A cut-above your average country pub and run by great people. Good selection of beers, very good food and a nice outdoor deck with views over a park. Comfy four-poster bed, antique wardrobe and dresser with french-doors leading onto the verandah. Basic but clean shared showers and toilets just down the corridor. Help yourself breakfast included.”

“Wow how good is this little gem. As a motorcyclist you are always on the look out for reasonable , clean , friendly and comfortable stay after a long day riding ... found it !! The Settlers Arms is a fantastic boutique Hotel open for a quenching ale from 4pm and mine hosts Craig and Steph excelled from greeting on arrival with a taste of Tony's Tinshed brewery craft Summer Blonde beer , ( in new crafty glasses ) down to an old fashioned chat with Ray a long time local but the best lay in the world class food .... amazing ... !!!!!!!! My room was comfortable and was value for money !! Cheers Guys will be back !! Eddie”

“Beautiful old building with wonderful atmosphere. Quiet room, at least while I was there, with comfortable bed and a window onto the upper verandah. Bar food was great. Choice of verandahs and places to sit. I had plenty of privacy, at least on the quiet Wednesday night I stayed. Brilliant value for money. Breakfast options were pretty good. I really loved my stay.”
