Please contact the property regarding the menu and price.<br><br>A free shuttle service to the Jigokudani Monkey Park is operated twice a week from January to March, for guests staying 5 nights or more.<br><br>As the property stands right next to a ski field, guests travelling by car are required to park their vehicle at a public Sunvalley car park situated around 100 yards away from the property. Guests can drop off the luggage at the property before parking.<br><br>Please note that this is a non-smoking property. “This is a great hotel. Shiga Kogen area in general seems "undiscovered" since the Nagano Olympics. The location for skiing the Northern interconnected area of Shiga is excellent. As it is the first resort to be reached by bus from Nagano to the Shiga area, travel time is a respectable of about an hour. The hotel is fantastic for a half board with authentic Japanese cuisine every night. I should say banquet. The only downside is that for our palettes, we would have appreciated choice of a lighter menus sometimes and other cuisine - after a week, our family of five were a little tired of the food. The onsen was fantastic and there was also a sauna. Staff was very friendly and thankfully a few of them do speak English. Skis could be hired at the hotel. Definitely recommend this place for a genuine Japanese experience (ie not like Niseko) which suited us.”

You get given good lockers for your ski/board equipment and the first chairlift is only 100m away and you can ski/board there from the door of the hotel. You can access the entire resort from this area meaning you never need to take the bus.”
