“Enormous hotel, with shopping mall, immense buffet-style dining room (called Viking in Japan), serving every conceivable food from many countries, with a dessert bar that included a chocolate waterfall, crepe pancakes made to order, shaved ice, candy floss - you get the picture. The kids were in heaven! We enjoyed it for the first night, but would have probably preferred something more intimate on the 2nd night. There is also a kaiseki (degustation style) Japanese restaurant in the hotel, but pricey and not so good for the kids. Lovely modern room, with a Japanese ambiance - futons on raised platforms for the adults, and roll-out ones for the kids on the tatami floor. Massage lady near the private family o-furo bath (booking required) did the most phenomenal lymphatic massage. She was hard to book, as the hotel was so busy, but definitely gave value for money.”
