“The room had a small bathroom with a toilet and very small shower which was better than most there which had a detached shower/toilet facility. The room was within the old castle/fortress which made it a unique experience. The castle is a short walk to the ferry and waterfront restaurants and shops. Walking around the island was lovely. Marstrand is really beautiful.”

“You will be staying in the middle of the castle, that gives you the advantage of experiencing the castle without any other tourists in the evening. The service, breakfast buffet (perfect glutenfree options) etc is absolutly satisfying. There is even a room with pool, tabletennis, dart etc to play. We loved our stay here, it was already my second time.”
“It is not a "luxury" accommodation, but it is really neat! Staff were very helpful (we arrived late, but they took care of us) and friendly, room was comfortable and clean, buffet breakfast was very Swedish and delicious, and there was a wedding reception going on when we got there so the guards fired the cannon. Where else do you get that?”
