“We were asked if we prefer a special nutrition. Next morning we got complete VEGAN breakfast. Fridge, kettle, TV, A/C. Extreamly clean. Languages: English and German. Hotel is in a town center, streets there are closed each evening for driving through. After check-in we left a car at free public parking in about 200m from the Hotel.”

“A truly lovely hotel and a lovely hostess (plus her English is excellent). When staying at the Smederij, be prepared to receive some old-fashioned hospitality in a lovely decor. The room we had (junior suite) was spacious and had a bath! The breakfast is truly a treat: not the buffet-style you see in 99% of hotel nowadays, but personally served by the hostess. Also the coffee/tea store that was included in the hotel had some very nice items. I would definitely recommend this hotel!”
