“View was great. Size of room was good. Bed was comfortable. Location was amazing and the main reason we stayed at The Stamford ie for walks along the river, great restaurants & ferry trips to other riverside locations. The Brasserie with river views was also a terrific spot for breakfast.”

“Great location and excellent views of the Brisbane River. Easy 10-minute walk down Edward Street from Central Station, if you are travelling by train from Brisbane Airport ($18 for a single journey). Most of it is downhill, if you are travelling with a few bags.”

“Lovely spacious room overlooking the river. Room 1406. Very comfortable bed. Also nice areas to sit downstairs for coffee or a drink and the restaurant was very nice. I do not travel on my own very often but felt welcome and the waiting staff in the restaurant were very atttentive and friendly.”
