“The hotel shuttle driver picked us up from the train station and was incredibly friendly! We really enjoyed chatting with him. The onsen facilities at the hotel were great also.”

“An older Ryokan at the Oboke Gorge. Staff member who checked us in had excellent English. Carpark is small but it wasn't very busy. The hotel is a bit rundown but our room was quite big overlooking the carpark and down the gorge. Public bath is very small. Hotel restaurant served excellent well priced meals but there are two restaurants and a Conbeni up the road. Note the restaurants close early.”
“The staff was excellent. There was one young man who spoke a lot of English and that really helped. (I wish I could remember his name as he was so lovely.) There is good value and the room was quite spacious. They provide yukatas, towels, onsen, and rotemburo. The rooms, onsen, and breakfast are in rooms with beautiful views.”
